As you are driving through on Charles or Haverhill Street during this first week of school, our Reading Public Schools students may notice that construction is officially underway at the new J.W. Killam School / Killam School Building Project , and there are already some big changes happening on site.
Over the first few weeks, crews have been focused on mobilizing the site and preparing the property for the major construction work ahead. This includes tree and vegetation clearing, establishing temporary utilities, setting up construction areas, and bringing in the heavy equipment needed for the next phases of work.
